The book that we would be reviewing today is,'Everything, Everything' by Nicola Yoon.
Nicola Yoon is a Jamaican-American author also known for the book, 'The Sun is also a star'.
'Everything, Everything' is an exceptionally well-written book with a unique structure which includes emails, sticky notes, chat conversations, and a few drawings.
It illustrates the story of Maddy, a teen girl who never left her house in seventeen years and her next-door neighbour Olly determined to reach her one way or the other. It is about the risks we take for love.
'Everything is a risk' is a quote from the book that explains us the way of life. It is a risk to do something not knowing the result, but it is also a risk to sit back and do nothing in life.
'Life is a gift, don't forget to live it' is an extract from the book which questions our way of living. It explains to us that we need to live our lives than merely surviving it.
'Maybe growing up means disappointing the people we love' is an extract from the book that explains to us that we cannot live up to everyone's expectations which is okay.
'Everything, Everything' is a YA contemporary book and is strongly recommended if you like to read about love, friendship and family.
