 Hey readers! Excited to have you here! For the first time, we shall be reviewing a graphic novel on the blog.


The book we shall we reviewing today is, 'Dancing at the pity party' penned by Tyler Feder. It was a graphic novel. 


Tyler Feder is a fulltime illustrator based in Chicago whose others works include, 'Unladylike' and 'Together we march'.

The plot unfolds from Tyler's viewpoint. It is her real-life story of how she lost her mother to cancer at a young age. It is a memoir for her mother. It is an emotional journey showing the emotions of the family from the moment they found about her mother's cancer to how they had to overcome her loss. 


Pick this book if you are someone who recently lost someone and is grieving. I highly recommend you not to choose it if you are sensitive to such topics since it will take you on an emotional ride.

It is a short fantasy short that you can read in one sitting if you are looking for a quick read.  The plot unfolds from Lorelei's point of view. This story contains elements of fantasy and romance in a perfect blend that will keep the readers wanting more.   After Lorelei has lost her mother, she now has to fight a battle against her one true love to keep her kingdom and her mother's promise.  The world-building is good, and the pace is right.
